SPATIAL DIMENSIONS OF UNKNOWN COMMONS., INQUIRY

Conceived as a collaboration between spatial thinkers—including, but not limited to, architects, philosophers, literary writers, historians, gallerists, media artists, and other related theorists or practitioners—this project will explore the idea of commons. The current edition is focusing on Armenia, working with and thinking through alternative narratives revealing the cultural history of space, territorial relationships and paradigmatic regimes of the Armenian world and its Republic.

As a community, "x-commons" is aiming to mobilize proactive thinkers and doers who generally disregard polity as an agency of change, and instead act independently from existing populist agendas, people who measure time in cultural centuries not political decades, and will rather act upon constants than temporalities.
